As someone with a passion for circuit boards and who has been designing them for over 8 years, I decided to branch out and founded Signature Circuitry in September 2020. I have designed complex, high-tech circuit boards used in commercial, private, and military aircraft, Humvees, flow meters, and consumer electronics. I have been IPC certified as a CID (Certified Interconnect Designer).
Although designing PCB’s (Printed Circuit Boards) for the military and commercial airlines was exciting, I wanted to design circuit boards for everyone, not just the government and major corporations. Through Signature Circuitry, I have the privilege of creating unique, one-of-a-kind plaques and signs that bring joy and pride to those who receive them. And this isn’t a “solo performance”- I have a great team of website designers, manufacturers, and suppliers who help with every step of the process.
Circuit boards are historically very expensive to design and manufacture. The process of designing a custom circuit board can take weeks and cost thousands of dollars. Normally, it only makes sense to manufacture them at very high volumes. Using my knowledge and experience in the PCB industry, I have created a way to offer customized circuit board plaques, signs, and nameplates quickly and affordably.
When not at a computer designing circuit boards, you can find me rebuilding a vintage 1967 Frolic canned ham trailer from the ground up. The inventor in me has created the Gift Grab Game– a Christmas gift exchange game that uses a giant foam die to decide how gifts are kept, traded, or returned. I have also written two Deer Diary books of “Unbelievably True Stories” of deer hunting in Goldendale, WA.
I am a very proud US Air Force Signals Intelligence veteran, a husband of 27 years, and a father to two amazing children and a crazy black Pugoodle (Pug/Poodle) with a wacky crooked tooth.
